PM Modi Embarks On Three-Day Visit To Gujarat, To Chair Key Meetings

After the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) won the state’s local body elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel to Gujarat for three days starting on Saturday. A number of important agreements, meetings, and site visits are scheduled throughout the state as part of the visit.

The visit will begin on Saturday evening when PM Modi arrives in Jamnagar.

He has been actively associated with the Shree Somnath Trust as one of its trustees, and on the first day he is expected to chair a meeting of the organization. Modi’s attendance at the trust’s meetings demonstrates his strong commitment to conserving the temple’s rich spiritual and cultural legacy. The Somnath temple is situated in the Gir Somnath area.

Modi is scheduled to visit Vantara, a cutting-edge animal rescue, conservation, and rehabilitation facility located in Jamnagar, on the second day of his tour. Vanatara, which covers around 3000 acres, is a refuge for endangered and rescued wildlife. In order to get a firsthand look at the center’s conservation activities, he is also anticipated to participate in a jungle safari.

The National Board for Wildlife (NBWL) meeting, which Modi will convene in the Junagadh area, will be a significant feature of the trip. The Prime Minister will chair a debate on a range of wildlife-related topics as the ex-officio of the Board, with a particular emphasis on national park and sanctuary conservation measures. The Chief of Army Staff, wildlife specialists, state representatives, non-governmental organizations, and chief wildlife wardens are among the 47 members of the NBWL. The Board is essential in providing the government with advice on national wildlife conservation plans.

PM Modi will visit with female forest workers in Sasan following the NBWL meeting, acknowledging their crucial role in protecting wildlife. The conversation will honor these women’s devotion and contributions, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting women in conservation.

He would go to the ancient Somnath temple in the Gir Somnath district later in the day to worship. The temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva, is a representation of India’s rich cultural past as well as a spiritual monument. PM Modi will take a plane from Rajkot airport and return to Delhi to wrap up his three-day tour to Gujarat.
