As part of his duty at the revered Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple on Mondays, Khali first pays his respects to the deity before proceeding with his security check. He consumes only milk and fruits throughout the day, deviating from his usual diet. Typically, Khali enjoys a rich diet that includes non-vegetarian mixed pedigree, eggs, milk, roti, and fruits. His special diet requires a monthly allocation of ₹16,000.

The dog team supporting Khali includes handler Vinod Meena, SI Mahesh Sharma, Head Constable Vikramsingh, and Constables Anil, Rahul, and Mahendra.

SI Mahesh Sharma mentions that Khali spends an hour each day training with the bomb disposal squad, ensuring he’s ready for any threat. His duties extend to all major events in the district, where his presence is vital for maintaining safety.
