Gujarat: BSF Officer and Jawan Die Due to Extreme Heat Exposure During Border Patrol

Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, Assistant Commandant Vishwadeo and Head Constable Dayal Ram, tragically lost their lives due to extreme heat exposure while on patrol at the ‘Harami Nallah’ creek area along the India-Pakistan international border in Gujarat.

The incident occurred on Friday when the two BSF men, part of the 59th battalion, were conducting a ‘zero line’ patrol. Official sources reported that both men suffered from heat stroke and dehydration during their duties.

Despite immediate efforts to save them, including rushing them to a health facility in Bhuj, Assistant Commandant Vishwadeo and Head Constable Dayal Ram could not be revived.
