Ambani Family Hosts Mass Wedding For 50 Couples Before Anant-Radhika Ceremony

In a heartwarming gesture ahead of Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant, the Ambani family organized a mass wedding in Mumbai, marrying off 50 underprivileged couples. The youngest son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani is set to wed Radhika on July 12th, a highly anticipated event that has been in the news for the past year.

Pre-Wedding Celebrations

The Ambani family has been busy distributing invitations for the upcoming nuptials. With ceremonies commencing after traditional prayers, a special mass wedding took place on July 2nd. The event saw 50 couples tying the knot, with the Ambanis providing everything from clothes to jewelry for the underprivileged brides and grooms. Mukesh and Nita Ambani, along with their children Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, and Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, were in attendance, highlighting the family’s involvement and support.

Generous Gifts for the Newlyweds

Each couple received several precious items from the Ambani family, including a mangalsutra (sacred necklace), wedding rings, and a nose ring, among other gold and silver jewellery. Additionally, each bride was given a check for 101,000 rupees as ‘stridhan’ (a traditional gift). To ensure the newlyweds were well-equipped for their new life together, the Ambanis also provided a year’s worth of groceries and household essentials. These included 36 items such as utensils, a gas stove, a mixer, mattresses, and pillows.

Lavish Feast for Guests

The mass wedding event also featured a grand feast for all attendees. This gesture follows a similar event in March, where the Ambani family organised a food service in Jamnagar, feeding 51,000 people.

The Ambani family’s generosity and dedication to social causes continue to be evident as they celebrate their own joyous occasions by giving back to the community.
