Varun Dhawan Told Ranveer Allahbadia that his appearance on Samay Raina’s show could result in his “cancellation”. Watch

Ranveer Allahbadia’s provocative comments on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent have drawn criticism on social media. In the midst of this, an old video of Varun Dhawan appearing on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast has come back to life. In it, he says that if he came on Samay’s show, he might be fired.

Varun on being a part of India’s Got Latent

Varun may be heard discussing his feelings over receiving an invitation to Samay’s event in the video. The actor stated that while he was interested in the show, he was apprehensive because of the possible negative reaction he would encounter, considering the show’s structure. He stated, “I ran into him also recently. He asked me to be on the show, and I genuinely think I would thrive on the show. I could get cancelled. But I think the show will be affected negatively because the more eyeballs you get on it in that way sometimes, and if you are doing it with that humour. Though he is not scared of all that. He is really not scared of it”.

Then, Ranveer Allahbadia recommended Varun take the initiative. In response, Varun stated, “I would do it in a heartbeat. I am not worried. I think I’ll have to do it when I am not promoting a film. So then there’s nobody else caught in the crossfire. Because there will be a crossfire for sure”.

Viewers responded to the video. Among the remarks was the statement, “Varun made a mature decision.” According to another, “Varun had so much understanding when he said this.” “He is way too smart,” said a different admirer. Being a member of the show, he is aware of how things will be viewed.

Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversy

Ranveer made an appearance on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, alongside comedian Jaspreet Singh, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, and social media personality Apoorva Makhija. “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join them to finish it once and for all?” Ranveer questioned a candidate during his appearance. Politicians, public personalities, and social media users all criticized him once his comment went viral. After expressing regret in public, Ranveer said that his comments were “not appropriate” and “not even funny.” But now, Ranveer, Apoorva, Samay, and the show’s organizers are the targets of a complaint.

Varun Dhawan’s upcoming project

Varun last appeared in the remake of Vijay’s Theri, Baby John, directed by Atlee. Nevertheless, the movie did not do well at the box office. His upcoming film is Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film, which has Karan Johar’s support, also features important roles from Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul. On April 18, the romance drama will be released in theaters.
