Four prominent Bollywood Celebrities, including an actor and comedian Kapil Sharma, choreographer Remo D’Souza, actor Rajpal Yadav, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra, have allegedly received death threats from Pakistan. A formal complaint has been lodged in Mumbai and police is investigating into this matter.

Threat to Kapil
The Email carrying the death threat reads, “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicly stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality”. The sender, identified as “BISHNU”, has signed off on email.
On December 14, 2024, Rajpal Yadav received an email with the ID Don from a man posing as Bishnu, threatening to murder Kapil Sharma and his group since Salman Khan is sponsoring his show. As a result, Yadav’s wife, Raadha Rajpal Yadav, filed a police complaint at the Mumbai Amboli Police Station right away.
At Mumbai’s Amboli police station, a case has been filed under Section 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), which addresses the threat of harm. Kapil Sharma and his group will have security. After linking the IP address to Pakistan, the Amboli police are requesting assistance from the government in order to communicate with Pakistan. The recipient has been given eight hours to respond, failing which they risk both personal and professional repercussions.
