A Surat-based diamond company that is known for its innovative artistry, exhibited a masterpiece carved from a 4.5-carat lab-grown diamond. The product was made to commemorate US President Donald Trump’s second term in office. The intricate work demonstrates the company’s dedication to fusing art and modern technologies. The total estimated value of the finished product is Rs 8,50,000.
In a similar gesture two years ago, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi famously presented a 7.5-carat lab-grown diamond to Jill Biden, the wife of former President Joe Biden. The same Surat company created this eco-friendly diamond, which demonstrated the brand’s dedication to sustainability.
Reportedly, the company took three months to crave the product, which demonstrates the workers’ meticulous attention to detail. Smith Patel, one of the owners of the company, was quoted as saying, “It was made with utmost precision. It will be given to Mr. Trump as a present”.
A new era in diamonds is ushered in by this combination of luxury, innovation, and sustainability, which also shows how lab-grown stones may be produced in a beautiful and ethical manner.
Patel continued, “We took three months to prepare this diamond, which includes growing, cutting and polishing. Our experts tried to make sure the craving was a replica of Mr. Trump’s face. This is an important symbol of ties between India and the US. We want to tell Mr. Trump that the creativity and our efforts to produce lab-grown diamonds will continue”.
The diamond-cutting and polishing industry in Surat is well-known worldwide. Due to the enormous demand for laboratory-grown diamonds, the Indian government has made the decision to heavily promote them in order to strengthen the diamond industry. The government intends to boost the country’s diamond industry’s competitiveness in the international market.
