Three Years of Leadership: CM Bhupendra Patel’s Vision Transforms Gujarat into a Hub of Innovation and Development

Gujarat goes global at every pace of Viksit Bharat, in line with this, Gujarat is playing a vital role in the world of Diplomacy. Recently, Gujarat made headlines in Geopolitics, world of democracy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Today, Gujarat CM completes three years in office, Gujarat has emerged as a leader in technological advancements, renewable energy, and socio-economic growth. His administration has been marked by dynamic governance, launching transformative policies and hosting high-profile international events, signaling Gujarat’s growing influence on the global stage.

Under CM Patel’s leadership, the state introduced 11 significant policy initiatives, which include the Gujarat Aatmanirbhar Policy, Biotechnology Policy, IT/ITes Policy, Sports Policy, and the groundbreaking Semiconductor Policy. This visionary roadmap has positioned Gujarat as a leading semiconductor hub, with multiple large-scale projects underway, such as the Micron semiconductor facility in Sanand, worth Rs 22,500 crore.

Additionally, Gujarat’s Renewable Energy Policy and Green Hydrogen Policy 2024 have bolstered its reputation as a pioneer in sustainability, contributing to India’s renewable energy targets. The state has also excelled in socio-economic upliftment, with key projects like the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana 2.0, Shramik Annapurna Yojana, and construction of over 14 lakh homes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, ensuring broad-based development.

A highlight of Patel’s tenure was Gujarat’s successful hosting of 17 G20 meetings in 2023, followed by the prestigious 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, which attracted over 61,000 delegates from 140 countries.

CM Patel’s leadership also prioritized long-term development through the “Viksit Bharat@2047” roadmap, emphasizing holistic growth under the slogan “Earning Well, Living Well.” For the second year running, Gujarat has ranked highest in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) India Index for health and well-being.

The statement highlighted that under Patel’s leadership, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting its commitment to quality management. Additionally, an official WhatsApp channel was launched to offer comprehensive updates on the CM’s public programs and development initiatives.

With an eye on the future, Patel has not only strengthened Gujarat’s economy but also laid the groundwork for sustained global partnerships, making the state a cornerstone of India’s ambitions in high-tech industries and green energy.
