Congress Announces New Appointments: Key Party Functionaries Appointed as AICC Secretaries and Joint Secretaries

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday made significant organizational changes by appointing party functionaries as All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretaries and Joint Secretaries for various states. The new appointees are expected to work in close coordination with the respective General Secretaries and In-charges of the party, with their roles taking effect immediately.

Among the notable appointments, Congress spokesperson Alok Sharma has been named the Secretary for Punjab, while Manoj Tyagi will serve as the Joint Secretary for Administration. Pargat Singh has been designated as the Secretary for Uttarakhand, and Subhashini Yadav, the daughter of veteran politician Sharad Yadav, has been entrusted with the crucial responsibility of Secretary for Gujarat.

The appointments reflect the party’s efforts to strengthen its organization ahead of key electoral battles in several states. Below is the complete list of newly-appointed AICC Secretaries and Joint Secretaries:
