Shah Rukh Khan was the first Indian celebrity to receive the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera, or Career Leopard, at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. The Bollywood icon charmed audiences during an hour-long masterclass, during which he humorously advised those unfamiliar with his work to “Google me and then come back!”
Google India quickly responded, sharing his quote on their official X account tagging him with a crown emoji. Fans echoed the sentiment, praising him as the “King of the industry.”
In the session, Khan reflected on his illustrious career and collaborations with renowned directors like Yash Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Farah Khan. He also highlighted the growing global recognition of South Indian cinema, citing films like *Jawan*, *Baahubali*, and *RRR*. Expressing his admiration for South Indian filmmakers, he recalled his desire to work in a South Indian genre film after collaborating with Mani Ratnam in *Dil Se*.
Shah Rukh was recently seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s *Dunki* and is set to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s *King*, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan.
