This collaboration will accelerate Gujarat’s ambition to become a leading hub for innovation and investment in the digital economy.
The partnership with Intel will facilitate students, professionals, and citizens’ access to cutting-edge technologies through a comprehensive digital readiness program. This initiative underscores the Gujarat government’s dedication to fostering technological innovation and economic growth.
Principal Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, Mona Khandhar, highlighted the importance of this initiative in promoting a skilled workforce and advancing technological capabilities within the state. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills, mindsets, and tools to thrive in an AI-driven world, engaging with various stakeholders, including regional science centers, academic institutions, and government bodies.
Key officials present at the signing included Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, MD of GIFT City Tapan Ray, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Pankaj Joshi, and representatives from Intel Corporation, including Anil Nanduri and Shweta Khurana, Vice President and Head of the AI Acceleration Office.
